Today I witnessed last breath of a Warrior. She has fought the cancer till the end…

My name is Katia Ogan and I was blessed to have Matushka Elizabeth (Angie Cardoza) as a friend for the last few years since her and her husband moved here to Southern Oregon to lead our parish.

We’ve had good laughs, good stories, good food together… she touched many with her warmth, kindness, and humor. But most of all, she was a fighter who never complained about the pain, fatigue, or anything else cancer had done to her. We talked about it, about her treatments, rejoiced when they were successful, worried when they were not… but she never complained and never wanted anybody to pity her…she was fighting till the end…

Today she has become free of pain. She went to the Lord in peace, with her family being beside her…

I opened this campaign to raise money to help Fr. Joshua (Perry Cardoza) and her daughters with funeral and travel expenses.

May the memory of the Servant of God Elizabeth be Eternal!
