Hi, My name is Angela, and my domestic partner, Rennie, of 18 years, passed away from Lung Cancer on Friday, July 29, 2022. We faced a 6-month battle after being diagnosed on January 25, 2022 and we fought hard to give him more time. He was previously diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis in 2019. I loved this man with all my heart and soul, and his leaving has greatly impacted my life. I am heartbroken, as well as his beloved dog, Leila is. I will have to move from my home as I cannot afford to stay there. We had no life insurance, and I have used all my current income methods to pay for his care. I have rent and utilities to pay and moving expenses as I look for a new home. I have no other resources other than my full-time job. I will also have to purchase a vehicle. Rennie and I have taken care of many family members over our years together that have faced obstacles in their lives with no thought to our own situation. We would not have had it any other way. Any help would be appreciated and welcomed as Leila, and I try to move forward with our lives.
