Daziyah is a bright and smart honor roll student who dreams of becoming an Veteinarian due to her love for animals (espeically dogs).
On August 10, 2014 while outside skating & playing with friends and her two dogs Daziyah's life was suddenly changed within minutes.
One of her dogs (Rottweiler) started bitting her on the left leg. As she used her right arm to fight him off he locked on her right arm and continually got more aggressive with no release.
Thankfully we have walking angels who risked their life to save hers, and was able to get the dog to let go of her arm. Daziyah was rushed into emergency surgery to repair/save her arm. Unfortunately, the damage was beyond repair. She had to have her arm amputated below her elbow.
Throughout this ordeal Daziyah has remained humble and strong with unbelievable courage and strength you can't imagine a nine year old would have.
Daziyah spent nine days in the hospital and is now home with her family. The journey before her is a long one, but we believe that miracles do happen.
Thanks to modern technology she would be able to get a bionic arm, but we need financial support for the multiple prosthetic's she will need due to her continued growth.
God has blessed us with an amazing daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece and friend as strong as she is.
