Hi, my name is Angel. I am a high school senior who has been working extremely hard to create a better future for myself. I recently got accepted into multiple colleges, including Jackson State University, which has been my dream school for a long time. Going to JSU means a chance for independence, stability, and a fresh start where I can truly grow.

Home has not been the easiest or healthiest place for me. I am not in physical danger, but I deal with a lot of emotional stress and instability that make it hard to focus on school or feel fully supported. I have been trying my best to stay strong, keep my grades up, and stay focused on my goals, but the truth is that I cannot do this alone.

I am raising money to help me get to college safely and successfully. This includes things like my housing deposit, travel to Mississippi, dorm supplies, and emergency needs that my family is unable to help with. I do not want my circumstances to stop me from becoming the first person in my family to attend a four-year university.

I plan to study psychology and become a clinical psychologist in the future. My goal is to help people who grew up feeling overwhelmed, unsupported, or unheard, because I know what that feels like. Getting to JSU is not just about leaving home. It is about breaking a cycle, choosing myself, and creating a future where I can finally breathe and thrive.
