Angels of Essence Child Care Completion

Hello, My name is Ms. Betty, Owner and Director of Angels of Essence Child Care Centre, located on the Northwest side of Detroit, Michigan. I started this journey in my home, on June 6, 2000, after my son was born with a chronic heart condition that forced me to stay home and care for him. I started with 5 lawn sides, from 6a to 6p and grew rapidly through referrals, to 24 hours 7 days per week. I outgrew my home and moved to a center, where I currently lease, in 2010. I have outgrown this center and purchased a new building 3 times the size of my current location, but unfortunately, just after 6 months, it was set on fire and destroyed. I have begun renovations, but I'm far from finished. Flooring, signage, exterior painting, inspections, and playground renovations are left for completion. Insurance covered most, but not all that was destroyed. I have exhausted all savings to replace new HVAC, Drywall, Plumbing, and roof. With your help and the appreciation of our parents, whose children are in need of quality, educational, and nurturing care, I can complete the needed renovations and move forward to opening in the near future.
