Angels of Connectivity

Our community is in need of Angels who can help us bridge the Digital Divide and ensure equitable access to education for all  of our children in K-12. COVID19 has shown us where the most immediate needs are, but unfortunately, in spite of all the efforts of our leaders and community members, we still have gaps and  critically unmet needs in the area of providing connectivity for online education. This is an immediate need and one that cannot wait until we build the local infrastructure necessary to reach every household.

I am raising funds to purchase cellular hot spots for our disadvantaged families. With the help of local non-profits and the local school district, the money collected can help increase capacity and supplement long term solutions.

Our school district serves a 51% Latinx population, 1200 students come from migrant family backgrounds, 61% of our students are on free or reduced lunch, and approximately 500 are homeless, or have insecure housing. These kids need our help and I ask you to join me in ensuring that the lack of internet connectivity is not another barrier on their road to educational success. 

You can contribute any amount. The goal is to purchase at least 100 hot spots, and be able to pay for a two year contract as required by the cellular provider.
