Last night, Angel unexpectedly suffered Congestive Heart Failure & was rushed to the Emergency Vet Hospital...
He was then admitted & is now on oxygen & a medication drip to try to clear the fluid from his lungs & stabilize him. He is exhausted...
The reason I am creating this account is because so many people LOVE Angel very much... I have also had several people say to let them know if there is any way they can be of comfort or help... So, if you're so inclined to help, every bit of this gfm will go towards Little Angel's hospital stay, medical care & continuing medications...
Angel had always been remarkably healthy until a year ago when the air conditioning went out at the place I was staying for a few months & he unfortunately was there several hours alone before I came back to discover him in tremendous distress.
For those of you who've watched me battle through surviving the challenging years after my 18-wheeler accident to finally try to get back on my feet, this sudden event just utterly destroyed me tonight... after so many other major losses back to back including all my own accident injuries, the loss of my job & home- this is just too much to bear.
Having no biological family, he is my "EVERYTHING" comforting me through my own recoveries of 2 spinal reconstruction surgeries & more injuries from my accident.
Would not have made it without him, and to see him like this now just guts me
At my age, Angel is the closest thing to a child that I will ever have...
For those of you unfamiliar with the story of Angel & I- how he happened into my as described in my story "Perfectly Broken" it will be hard to even begin to explain all that this remarkable loving sentient being embodies to me.
After surviving all the horrible experiences in my childhood & great losses afterwards (especially since my catastrophic injuries after the 18-wheeler accident which caused me to pretty much lose everything), Angel was the ONLY positive, comforting constant in my life.
For those of you who fervently prayed along side me & encouraged me that he would get through this, you have my sincerest thanks...
My Little One is a Fighter, and as long as he was willing to fight I wanted to fight alongside him... All that being said, I feel an immense sense of gratitude for the prayers & encouragement that came from all of you...
