On the evening of July 17th, 2025 Angel suffered a stroke and was rushed to the ER. He remains in a comatose state and is currently on life support.

This medical crisis has taken a toll on the family emotionally and financially. This has been an added weight to their current situation-- Angel's mother was recently diagnosed with cancer and planned to begin chemotherapy this month. However, due to these unforeseen circumstances, she has chosen to hold off to be by Angel's side.

At 36 years old, Angel is an Emmy-nominated producer for his work with Fox 5 and an integral part of the Las Vegas Film Community. He is known as a supportive friend and colleague for fellow creatives. He has a popular podcast, Film Goals that supports the local Las Vegas film community.

He is currently surrounded by his loving parents, four siblings, two cats, girlfriend, friends, and family. While everyone remains hopeful for his recovery, the trajectory of his health is a day-by-day journey. Regardless of how his condition progresses, his family faces significant ongoing medical expenses and costs.
