My brother, Angel has spent the last few months fighting a quiet battle due to a failing liver. We just got word that his fight is going to get a lot harder in the upcoming months due to needing to have a very rare and complex 12-22 hour, three organ transplant surgery to replace his liver, pancreas and intestines. Not only will the surgery be tough but the journey to get back healthy afterwards will be brutal and keep him out of work for an extensive amount of time.
