This GoFundMe is in hopes to help raise money to pay for my sister Michelle and her Husband Mike's sons hospital bills, please if you can't afford to help all we ask for is PRAYERS. As most of you know, Brayden has been in and out of the Hospitals since he was first born with fevers ranging from 103-106 for weeks on end with no explanation. With each fever came long bouts of dehydration and refusals to eat. Although he would pick back up on the eating a few days after the fevers and dehydration wore away this past flare-up in October 2016 has been the worst yet. In October, Brayden was finally diagnosed with VEO Ulcerative Colitis. He is part of the less than 1% diagnosed at such an early age and is now part of the Children’s Hospital and Mass General Hospital Research teams. Since September 2016 Brayden had been in and out of the hospital for an NG Tube placement, two G-tube placement surgeries, all kinds of genetic, rheumatology, immunology and infection disease testing, endoscopy and two colonoscopys, ect. for 19 months now, staying for weeks at a time and with each stay it puts Michelle out of work so that she can be there for her baby and their family is struggling to start afloat with all the medical bills and co-pays that come with it. Since the first G-tube placement Brayden has been having a rough go. He was having some trouble with pain and they were able to manage it for the most part and lots and lots of diarrhea. They were discharged on Saturday night February 4th only to be re admitted again, Wednesday the 8th with pain, a high fever and tachycardic around 215 when they arrived by ambulance with an O2 stat of 73. His HR and temps seemed to have come down a bit during the night and started to go the opposite direction and he was staying around 94° and then it was a rush to get them back to normal with a heated room and blankets. Early the next morning he began to rise again and is HR was hovering at the 240, his O2 was dropping rapidly and temps in the higher 104's. With the help of some meds and the cooling blanket they brought his temp down to 100. His HR was still over 200 and the O2 has been stabilized with Humidified oxygen and they were monitoring it closely. Brayden has continued to make improvements and the HR, O2 and temps are finally back to normal after several days. The teams of Dr.s are working hard and very close with Brayden and have now come to realize that his body also does not produce a specific enzyme that helps aide in the digestion of sugars and carbohydrates and are thinking of switching him over to another formula called 3232a. We are waiting on that news. Please keep Brayden in your prayers for a fast recovery and healing from everything that is happening. We are still waiting for lots of test results to come back.https://m.facebook.com/BraydenTaylor15/?tsid=0.3662141986459304&source=typeahead
