Angel's Fight: Diabetes and Kidney Failure

Hello, my name is Angel Delacruz. I am 30 years old and have 3 boys: Zayn, 9; Amenadiel, 4; and my youngest, Kai, 2. I am a devoted mother to my boys and introducing a new brother/sister late November 2025. I have been battling type 1 adolescent diabetes since I was 10 years old. It currently got worse to where I was recently hospitalized during April 2025 with stage 4 kidney failure.

We lost our home due to our 2nd source of income as I was unable to work an help fiancé with bills while I've been having dialysis 6 times a week. We are currently using family vehicle when we can for my dialysis and taking fiancé to work as our truck is currently not running an have to move on to buy new vehicle. My fiancé is helping watching the boys as much as he can as he works Monday through Friday 8-5 and sometimes weekends for extra money as he is trying to hold everything together for our family an trying to stay afloat while hurrying to get us another place for our heads as we are waiting for my approval for disability. I have had to miss a few appointments due to no sitter as it is summer and kids are out of school, and money is tight to send them to daycare. My oldest, Zayn, is diagnosed with ADHD and very hyper, while my middle son, Amenadiel, is autistic and very much a handful along with his younger brother mimicking his behavior.

My life expectancy is near if I am unable to attend my dialysis weekly an pay for daycare or another vehicle to drop children off with relatives a county over, while the doctors instructed dialysis is dire and typically patients lasts 5-10 years, but they have seen people living past 30 years with dialysis daily.My insurance does not cover the cost of insulin I need as well and I've been using off-brand insulin with horrible side effects leading to the deterioration of my health. We wish to provide the boys with their mother for as long as possible to hopefully be able to get a kidney transplant in time.
