Angel's Dying Tree Must Go!

Donation protected

We all know Angel is the kind of person who would give you the shirt off of her back. She makes us laugh, she makes us cry. She has a heart of gold and is a rock solid, good human being with the world's best laugh.

But now she needs her friends.
Laid off from her job of 15 years, she is struggling to make ends meet.  If being unemployed and on your own is not stressful enough, she’s learned a large, dangerous tree right next to her house needs to be taken out as soon as an arborist can scurry over there to do it. This unexpected and ridiculously costly expense is causing her great stress.

The tree must go: It is unstable and could fall on its own and is threatening her house and her neighbor’s house, not to mention her roof -- which was just replaced last month by insurance. The dead limbs creak during storms, threatening to snap off, in fact one did recently and damaged her brand new rain gutter. Cracked at the base, every arborist she talked to said the tree must come down immediately because it's ready to come down on it's own; one even told Angel she is on borrowed time.

That is unacceptable.

Please, friends, give what you can to get this menacing tree out of her life. Let’s all put our money where are mouths are and help Angel get through this trying time and come out on the other side with her usual good cheer, and not worry too much about the horrible tree crashing through her roof or making ends meet until she lands on her feet.  We all deserve help and support and never know when or if or why we will need it.

Please give what you can and help a sister out!

Q: Why is the tree removal so expensive?
A: Instead of the $1000 she was expecting for tree removal, six estimates came in averaging a whopping $4500. Surprisingly expensive because it is dangerous to remove due to the small trunk and huge limbs. Fortunately an arborist recommended by a friend came in at $3500. However, the added expense of removing the tree is something Angel just can’t manage while unemployed (she hasn’t received a penny of unemployment) or working the irregular contract job that she has been doing.

Note: Any funds raised in excess of the amount needed for the menacing tree will go towards helping Angel with living expenses and taking care of her property (which now includes a fence that was broken by a neighbor's tree that fell into her yard) until she is back on her feet. All donations will go directly to her.
