Angel Angelone has lived and worked in the Mt. Washington Valley for over 35 years. Graduating from Kennett High School in 1991, Angel chose to stay in the valley she loves. Angel has worked as a hair stylist for many years, as well as waitress at many of our local restaurants. Most recently Angel is serving in the role of Assistant Service Advisor at Crest Auto World.
Angel has been fighting a battle against Chron's disease for many years. At points, her disease has been so debilitating it has kept her from being able to work. After years of being cyclically hospitalized, Angel has fallen on hard times. She is currently hospitalized due to her chronic disease and waiting on surgery that will, hopefully, alleviate some of her symptoms. Angel is a single mom and is on the verge of losing the home she and her 15 year-old daughter share. Angel has worked and served our community since she was 14 years old and has always given back to this valley through her wonderful and kind service, huge smile and a laugh. As a community, I am asking that we rally around one of our own in her great time of need.
I understand that many of us in the valley live paycheck to paycheck and what is happening to Angel could easily happen to any one of us. While it is difficult to give in these economic times, I know that if we each give a little it will add up to a whole lot and change the lives of this mother and her daughter. In turn, kindness and generosity will come back around to each of us in our own time of need.
