Angelo had been in remission and doing really well, but sadly, his cancer has returned—and this time it’s more aggressive. The family received the news on June 20, and he began chemotherapy on June 24. He will also be undergoing surgery and radiation in the near future. Hello, I am a close friend of Alyssa. She is a mother watching her beautiful son fight a battle that no child should have to face – the fight against cancer. This is the second time in three years that one of her children has had to endure this devastating disease.

Angelo, who is 8 years old, has been diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, it is in the same cancer family his sister Iris had. Once again, Alyssa had to quit her job to care for her child. The children's father is not involved, and Alyssa is a single mom of three. I can't imagine going through this nightmare not once but twice. As summer ends and her other two kids return to school, she needs our help. The financial toll has been enormous. All of it is heartbreaking. I know as a community we can help her with prayers for Angelo and if you can donate, it would be greatly appreciated and would help her tremendously. Thank you so much!
