Angell Standfield's home of 17 years was destroyed by fire on March 12, 2025. The roof, living room, and bedrooms suffered extensive damage and has left Angell, her two sons, her two daughters-in-law, and her three grandchildren in a huge financial bind. Unfortunately, she did not have renter’s insurance and is unable to recover her losses in a timely manner. As a result, she and her family have been temporarily displaced to motels and have so far incurred costs exceeding $3,290.00, more than they can manage at this time.

They are grateful for the help that the American Red Cross has provided in securing temporary resources. However, the cost of the motels alone are equivalent to twice the rent they normally paid for their home. Angell is seeking help with monthly motel, storage, and laundry expenses as well as moving and cleaning costs. This fundraiser was started to help Angell and her family.
