Hello, I'm Angelisse's Grammy. I need to share what's going on with her and why we are reaching out for support. Kind, intelligent, funny, and compassionate Angelisse had just started interning as a research assistant, was going to college, and just got her first car. She had been feeling very tired and was beginning to experience pain in her bones. She went to the ER multiple times and was sent away with guesses. Finally, the amazing doctors at Loma Linda University ER were able to figure it all out. Angelisse is in chemo treatment now for T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She is in the best hospital possible for treatment and keeps that beautiful smile on her face through it all.

My son, Phillip, and my daughter-in-law, Paola, have had to drastically reduce their work hours to be with Angelisse at the hospital. They have a ten-month-old son as well, and one cares for him while the other stays with her. Ronald McDonald House (support this great charity if you can!!!) has been incredible in helping provide lodging in Loma Linda so they can be nearby. All being said, financially this is a struggle. There is almost no income at this point and as you all know, bills and expenses stop for no one. We are humbly asking for your support. Everything helps!! Just five dollars can provide a meal for Mom while she is at the hospital with Angelisse, or helps towards gas and maintaining their home while they are away (gotta have somewhere to go back to!). Co-pays need to be made and the list goes on. No amount is too small! Every penny is appreciated so much!!
