Angelina's Summer Ballet Journey to Denmark

Angelina was just recently notified she will have the amazing opportunity to train at the Royal Danish Ballet Women's Summer Elite program!  The Royal Danish Ballet is one of the oldest ( founded in 1740's!), and well respected ballet companies in the world and to train in their school's  women's elite program ( 15-20 year olds- she is still 14), is a dream come true for Angelina.  She only started her classical ballet training and pointe instruction almost 2 years ago.  She has worked so hard training simultaneously at Oakland School for the Arts , as well as at San Francisco daily and keeping a 4.0 gpa for the past 4 years.  This experience will no doubt  greatly enhance her dance education.   These are her words:
"I know that I have this opportunity, not only because of daily hard work and excellent teachers, but because I have had support from so many people, from my parents and siblings, to so many friends from all over. I feel very grateful to do what I love so much, and for sacrifices made on my behalf. I wouldn't be able to train without the  financial help of others, and without the financial support from San Francisco Ballet School, which gives me a generous amount of financial aid to train year round.  I take nothing for granted and am thankful to be where I am."
Her tuition, airfare and housing combined at Royal Danish Ballet's Summer Intensive are what both Ellison's and ABT's tuition ALONE are  in NYC- and she was accepted to both.
