Hi everyone,

I’m starting this fundraiser on behalf of my amazing coworker, Angelina Gutierrez, and her boyfriend James, who are facing an unimaginable loss.

On July 15,2025 while Angelina was at work, a devastating fire broke out in their home. Within minutes, everything they owned — clothes, furniture, important documents, and personal belongings — was destroyed. Their home is now completely unlivable.

Thankfully, their beloved dogs were saved thanks to the quick and heroic actions of a neighbor. While we're incredibly grateful for their safety, Angelina and James are now left picking up the pieces of their lives with nothing but what they had on them that day.

As you can see from the photos, the damage is catastrophic. This was their home, their safe place — and now it's gone.

Angelina is one of the most hardworking and compassionate people I know. She’s always been there for others, and now she and James need our help more than ever.

We’re raising funds to help them with:

Emergency housing and shelter

Replacing essential items like clothes and toiletries

Food and pet supplies

Long-term recovery and rebuilding
