Hello everyone I created this page to help my niece Angelica.

 

Unfortunately on April 6th, 2022 Angelica was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML).

Angelica had been feeling fatigue, shortness of breath, hair loss, no appetite, and had zero energy to do anything. On Tuesday her mom strongly encouraged her to get lab work done, and on Wednesday they received a call from the doctor that she needed to go to the Emergency Room immediately. Once she got to the ER they started running tests and admitted her into the hospital. They ordered a bone marrow biopsy and started blood transfusions. The doctors still need to run more tests to determine treatment plan but they have advised her that she will need to take the next couple of months to rest and treat the cancer. As of right now this is all the information we know and we will offer updates as more information is provided to us.

 

This has been devastating news for her and our family. Anyone who knows Angelica has only kind words to say about her. She has a beautiful heart and you’ll always find her with a smile on her face.

Angelica went 14 years with medical insurance and never needed to use it but unfortunately she doesn’t have any at the moment. Our goal is to help her eliminate the stress of worrying about finances so she can focus primarily on getting better.
