Angelica Ruiz Memorial Fund

The Rush Soccer Club is saddened to announce the passing of one our dearest members. Angelica Ruiz unexpectedly passed away this week. She is the mother of Emiliano Ruiz, who currently plays for the Rush 06B ECNL team, and Alum Diego Ruiz of Rush 93B. Her husband, Armando Ruiz, is one of our assistant coaches. She is also survived by daughters Gabriela and Ximena. Mrs. Ruiz was a longtime educator and she was currently teaching second grade at a local elementary. We want to help during this difficult time and we are asking the Rush family and the entire soccer community to consider a monetary donation to a family that has given so much to the youth sports community.

El Club de Fútbol Rush se entristece al anunciar el fallecimiento de uno de nuestros miembros más queridos. Angélica Ruiz falleció inesperadamente esta semana. Es madre de Emiliano Ruiz, quien actualmente juega para el equipo Rush 06B ECNL, y del ex alumno Diego Ruiz de Rush 93B. Su esposo, Armando Ruiz, es uno de nuestros entrenadores asistentes. También le sobreviven sus hijas Gabriela y Ximena. La Sra. Ruiz fue educadora durante mucho tiempo y actualmente enseñaba segundo grado en una escuela primaria local. Queremos ayudar durante este momento difícil y le pedimos a la familia Rush y a toda la comunidad del fútbol que consideren una donación monetaria a una familia que ha dado tanto a la comunidad deportiva juvenil.
