Angélica Marrugo Hernández

Angélica Marrugo Hernández will undergo surgery on Friday, May 8, 2020 to remove a pituitary tumor that has affected her vision and causing pain. Señora Marrugo is a 1st grade Dual Language teacher at Marshville Elementary School. She arrived in the United States in August 2019 from her home country of Colombia through the Participate Program to teach Spanish in our DLI program. Señora Marrugo is adored and loved by her students! Let's raise money together to help her with her medical expenses. Thank goodness she is here with the amazing medical team at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center, but we all know how expensive surgeries are!
