My name is Angela. I'm an 18 year old applying for college at the University of Houston this fall. I'm raising money for myself so I can continue my education and make the difference in the world that I want! I'll be using the money I receive for my tuition, books, and any/all supplies required for me to be successful as a new Cougar! I need the funds as soon as possible, but I'll leave this campaign open for the next four years as I attain my bachelors (and hopefully get scholarships along the way.)

My mom was laid off in March, and unfortunately, we're not in the best shape to pay for college. I've been applying for scholarships when I can, but being top 24% of a class of 572 kids and having a 3.7 GPA isn't good enough. Even when I can, it's not very often because I'm working so much to help my family stay on it's feet. I work at Chick-Fil-A full time in the mornings, housesit, babysit, and petsit in the evenings, and in between, I'm doing any freelance work with photoshop and photography. My dad is working multiple jobs and even my little sister is working. Mom is still unsuccesful in finding a job...

I'm saving whatever money I can, but so far...  we're really struggling. It would be so freaking amazing if anybody could help me pay for my college. It means so much to me. I will be so very grateful to anybody who donates, because getting through college will help me get a better standing in the world so I can help my family and myself.
