Please! Be an angel for our down syndrome family, Amy!  We need your help!

 “I gave her my bedroom and she’s given me life lessons.  I wouldn’t have it any other way,”  exclaims one adoring niece.

“When I need a hug or hearty high five, I turn to aunt Amy.  I help her exercise, but also sneak her red velvet cupcakes.  We order her music and help teach her to use the iPad.  Often our goals are bigger, like pushing her wheelchair in a 5K or all around Disneyland.

Another niece reports “Angel Amy also helps me to remember not to sweat the small stuff.  It’s my nature to be intense and passionate about learning, but when she intentionally tips her head and cheers, “Girl Party!” she always gets me laughing.

“She has enriched both my life and our family life,” says Amy’s sister welling up with tears. 

Some Renaissance artists painted haloes around the heads of worshippers with facial features similar to Amy’s, people born with that extra chromosome.  Please be part of Angel Amy’s halo by helping make sure the bank doesn’t take our house! 

“We need $40,000 to avoid foreclosure on our family home.  After providing for my family for decades, I was laid off.  Everyday I look for work,” says her humbled brother-in-law.  He’s been like a father to Angel Amy who now jokingly calls him Dad. “We need your help as the bank is closing in fast now.”

At our home, she knows every step, feels safe, and loved.  Familiarity with her home is the key.  Please halt the bank from taking the house she calls home! It's the one  place that’s not a struggle for her.
