Angela Wright in the Fight of Her Life

Hi, we are Cindy, Brooke, Holly and Alia. Many of you know our dear friend Angela is in the fight of her life against pancreatic cancer. Angela has touched our lives in such a positive way and we know so many others feel the same. This fundraiser is to help Angela and Don with the many expenses they will incur that are not covered by insurance. This includes travel to Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital in New York, The Riordan Clinic in Wichita, possibly MD Anderson and Immunity Theraphy Center (Mexico), as well as treatments and medications.  Angela is looking into ALL options so she can use every weapon to fight.

Here’s Angela’s story in her own words…

On Thursday July 27th I received the news that I have pancreatic cancer that has spread to my liver. We were SHOCKED to say the least. I had several tests for a few months due to stomach issues and just feeling a bit "Off", but never in a million years did I think I would have cancer.  

Although hearing the C word and obviously feeling devastated, I did feel a since of IMMEDIATE strength come over me that can only come from God.  

I'm working hard on PRAYING and trying my hardest not to worry, I'm working on living in this moment and taking it day by day, I'm working really hard at the power of positive thinking and then more PRAYING! I'm ready to start this fight!!!

I'm so blessed to have my amazing hubby & boys, my village of AMAZING prayer warrior friends, blessed to be feeling good physically, feeling good emotionally (Most of the time), blessed that i'm feeling the love and blessed that I'm REALLY FEELING the prayers. In this storm, I really am so blessed. I'M BLESSED BECAUSE I 100% CLAIM I WILL BEAT THIS, IN GODS NAME I WILL BEAT THIS!!!

I'm asking for prayers for all of us, I find myself worrying about Don & the boys more than anything!  

I will update this site so that you will know what's happening with my treatment plan and other details!!!
