Help Angela Walker Cruz fight Leiomyosarcoma

Hi, my name is Rachelle and I am raising funds for my dear friend Angela. Angela is 47 and has been diagnosed with Leiomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive cancer. All funds raised will go towards cancer treatments, PET Scans, medications, doctor appts and other bills. Angela had been misdiagnosed for months. They kept telling her it was “just fibroids”. They scheduled her for an hysterectomy and once inside they discovered is was Leiomyosarcoma. After surgery, she had a hard time finding an oncologist because most of them would not accept her insurance. She got a different Insurance plan and 3 months post-op she was finally able to see an oncologist. They wanted to order a PET scan but again Insurance wanted to fight her on it. She has a small home based business but due to her Illness, surgery and the economy she is barely able to stay afloat. She is extremely stressed as to how she will pay for everything. This is the last thing she needs to worry about. Her focus should be on getting well. She was told last week that she needs chemotherapy, scans, port placement and tons of medications. She doesn’t have enough to get by. Angela helped raise her 2 brothers as seen in the picture. One was killed by a drunk driver and she still cares for her other brother.
