Angela’s Fight For Her Daughter:Legal,Medical,Misc

In March 2024, life threw me and mine a curveball. One of my daughters was the victim of a brutal attack and violent beating of her person rendering her unconscious and unable to defend herself or her life at the hands of another classmate simply for being trans and existing. She has sustained a TBI and numerous brain injuries that will affect her for the rest of her life and have caused other issues stemming from the severity of the head traumas. She is lucky to be alive and literally a walking miracle.

I have been silently fighting for justice for her ever since. Throughout this journey of her medical issues and seeking justice, the few of you who know, have graciously checked in and sent cards and care packages and kept me going on the days this has brought me to my knees as I watch my child suffer and endure all that she has and continues to do so. Your unwavering support has been a source of comfort during these dark and scary times, and for that, I am profoundly grateful.

However, as I strive and fight for justice and accountability, I have encountered a significant financial obstacle. Additionally, there are new updates in this situation that require further litigation with a different type of law firm than who I had on retainer for 4 months. Additional unexpected costs associated with medical bills and legal proceedings are beginning to accrue-consultation fees, retainer fees and various other legal aspects will continue to rapidly accumulate. As will medical bills as she has had to see numerous specialists, extensive testing and multiple ER visits throughout the last almost 5 months.

Despite my best efforts, I have reached a financial impasse. Therefore, with a humble heart, I am reaching out to each and every one of you for help during this trying time. My fight for justice has stalled and I continue to be silenced.
