Fundraiser for beloved Angela Lau “Mrs Sweet”

My name is Claudia Rivas. I am raising funds for my dear friend and colleague Angela Lau also affectionately known as "Mrs Sweet" in the entertainment industry. Angela suffered a sudden stroke at the young age of 46. She succumbed to the massive damage done to her brain and was declared brain dead. She was taken off life support and passed away on Sep 11 . 2022

She was the most dedicated single mom to Marcus, 17 and Alexis, 12. Her entire life revolved around her children. As a free lance entertainer, she worked tirelessly to provide for them. Due to the pandemic she worked countless hours to compensate for the loss faced by industry. Sadly, the stress and long hours were detrimental to her health.

Angela was a dedicated and extremely talented artist. She brought so many smiles and joy to children and even adults across the GTA. She was honest, kind, sincere and had the biggest heart. Average was not a part of her vocabulary. She wanted to give the best and always went beyond what was required.

Now, she has left the legacy of her two beautiful children behind. As a single mother and self-employed individual, this poses a challenge for the family with funeral expenses and general and future cost for her children. She was the sole provider. I would love to ease the burden of this extra weight the family now faces in the midst of this tragedy. Please join me in giving back to an angel that graced the entertainment industry for many years. She will be missed beyond measure.
