Angela (Lala)'s 40th Birthday Pay It Forward

My 40th birthday is coming upon the 23rd March.

When I look back on how I celebrated my 30th birthday, it was all about the material world and what look good in front of others. Glamorous on the outside, without much substance.

For my 40th birthday, I really want to make it about my purpose and making a difference, as well as challenging my definition of accepting all of myself.

My biggest fear when it comes to self image as always been shaving my head and not knowing how I would look. And The Bear Cottage (Part of The Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation, and the only Children's hospice in Sydney for kids with life-limiting conditions) has always been my go to charity, and now a very special place in my heart since I became a mum.

So for my 40th birthday, I'm fundraising for the Bear Cottage targeting $40,000 and I'll shave my head when we achieve this target.
