Angela Kicking Cancer’s Ass

As most of you know my sister in law, Angela Adams, is fighting stage 2 breast cancer. She was diagnosed on October 3rd, 2018. Since her diagnoses she has been in positive spirits and completely hopeful for a full recovery. Angela left a toxic relationship after finding out she had cancer and moved back home with her parents. She has been granted a 6 month unpaid leave of absence from work and has no current income. Angela’s mom also stopped working earlier this year to take care of my father in law full time as he is now in hospice at home. I have been blessed to be a part of the Adams family for many years now and  I can tell you these are some of the most generous and giving people I have ever known. They are all very strong and courageous in their own ways. Angela’s dad has been fighting his own medical battles for many years now and is still the back bone of his family and makes sure everyone is always taken care of. The reality is that this family will never ask for help and will continue to keep giving so I am asking all of my friends and family to give anything they can to help. Angela’s family has had to pay many things out of pocket so far because frankly the insurance she had sucked and her benifits have been exhausted. We were fortunate enough to have the money for her to be able to harvest her eggs so that after treatment she’s still able to give Camden a cousin. When she is ready to go through IVF that will need to be paid out of pocket. There is also an annual fee to keep her eggs frozen until that time comes. Things add up and savings begins to dwindle and I just don’t want this family to be in a tough spot during Angela’s treatment. Anything helps, even continuing to pray. I understand it’s the holidays and right now might not be the best time to donate but we’ve still got about 10 months of treatment left!
