Car Repairs for Angela Kellner
Donation protected
My daughter, Angela, was in a vehicle accident on July 13, 2022, near Eugene, Oregon. She was driving her 2011 Toyota Sienna on a curvy part of the road to her home and swerved to avoid hitting a fawn that had entered the roadway; its mother close behind. The van hit a brushy embankment on the left and rolled over; paramedics had to extricate her. At the hospital, a CT scan showed a fractured L-1 vertebra, which is very painful, requiring her to be on modified bed rest for about six weeks. Angela's car insurance company said that because she chose to avoid hitting the deer, she is "at fault" and will receive nothing for the loss of her $15,000 van, which she had just paid off. She is fortunate to have survived the accident and is grateful to be alive. Angela has no transportation and no savings. She understands that times are tough for everyone, but she also hopes her friends and family will help her raise enough money to buy a car. Any amount you can give will be greatly appreciated; please share this with as many people as possible. Thank you all so much.
