Angie’s Cancerageous Journey

In November 2021, my mother Angela Evans was diagnosed with stage 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer. So far this experience has taken a toll on our family in many different ways.

From biweekly hospital visits, surgeries to chemotherapy treatments, to me having to fly back and forth from college in Georgia to Baltimore to help care for my mother. We have been doing our best to maintain but the hospital bills are beginning to build up and sadly her insurance does not cover a large portion of the cost.

Those who know my mom know that she is one of the most outgoing, hardworking, community building women around. She has rooted her life's work into mentoring young Black Women, being an ordained minister, a Woman in Christ, an event planner and decorator, a business owner, a superb singer, having a 20+ year career in software technology with multiple degrees and certifications and most recently becoming a certified mental health advocate. Did I also mention that she’s a single mother? My mom's work ethic and passion to help her community is one of a kind.

Now I’m asking her community to help her. By donating and sharing her story we will be able to aid her in this journey to beat cancer like Martin got beat in that episode with the Hit-Man. (Y'all know what I’m talking about!) Thank you!
