I’m writing this on behalf of my good friend Alex (Lexi to me), because she would never ask for help herself. And who at first, politely declined when I suggested this to her. She is a strong person with a lot of emotional support, but at this time, she has suffered a tragic loss that has caused extreme financial weight.

Alex’s mom, Angie, was a vibrant, fun and colourful soul. She died unexpectedly and far too young due to a tragic accident while traveling abroad.

As Angie’s only child, Alex has been trying to process unimaginable grief from afar while also facing the overwhelming reality of the costs involved in retrieving her mom’s ashes, as well as a memorial.

My hope is to help ease some of the financial weight she’s carrying, so she can grieve properly and begin her healing journey. As I cannot take away any of the pain she is experiencing.
