Once upon a time, there was a school full of beautiful children. When Christmas time arrived, all of the beautiful children needed to be placed on an Angel Tree. The beautiful children and their teachers became sad because there weren't enough people to pick an Angel. The beautiful children went home with heavy hearts because Santa would not be visiting them for Christmas. What should be a happy and merry time at the school was full of stress and worry. The teachers thought and thought on how to make the beautiful children find the magic of Christmas, so they created " The Angel Tree that Wasn't" project. All of the beautiful children now get a Christmas present and a food bag to take home with them before the Christmas break. What once was a sad, frustrating time at the school now became full of joy and happiness. The beautiful children's faces light up on the day the gifts are given. This school full of beautiful children could not possibly do this without the support from their community. Would you be willing to donate money to help the beautiful children of Jones Elementary School in Springdale AR enjoy the magic of Christmas? 98% of our students come from poverty. Their parents love them dearly, but many of them cannot afford to buy Christmas presents for them. Two weeks away from school is a long time for many of our students, because food insecurity is an issue for them. Our goal this Christmas is to purchase a gift or 2 for every child at Jones. We will also send food bags home to help fill their bellies over the holiday season. Thank you for considering loving on our kids.
