In Honor of Angel Roberto Ibañez

Dear Friends and Family,

A year of healing and reflection has passed since the sudden loss of Angel Ibañez, we remain reminded of the joy he brought into our lives. Before his unexpected passing, he and his daughter were collaborating on numerous projects. As he wished, she's committed to seeing them through to completion. As a Manager and Teacher at the SVA Digital Imaging Center, for 30 years Angel empowered his students to transform their artistic drafts into published books of art. Now, his daughter is dedicated to doing the same for his own body of work.

With your support, we can finish his projects, including:

• A 1980’s Hip Hop Photography Book

• A Black Cowboy Photography Book

• Publishing his Sketchbooks and Nude series

• Completing several other near-finished projects

• Keeping his website live and updated

Angel Roberto Ibañez was an Afro-Cuban, long-time Lower East Side resident of New York. Master Artist, Teacher, Photographer, Historian, Consummate Gentleman, Beloved Family Man and Life-Long Friend, he is missed dearly by all those that knew him.
