Angel on a Cloud - 2020
Donation protected
The "Angel On A Cloud Foundation" was founded by my family and I to honor a sister, daughter, aunt, mother, & friend. Shellae Vicknair loved kids and nothing brought her more joy than seeing them smile, and enjoying life. As we kick off the 8th year of doing this, we are forever grateful for all who have contributed, shared our story, helped wrap, offer kind words, prayed for us, and helped us get bigger each year - so we can directly impact more children here in DFW.
We have raised over $27,000 in our short history, along with hundreds of clothes & blankets. We continue to drive and push to make even a small impact in the lives of kids. We will again be visiting Dallas LIFE, and discuss positive thoughts, setting goals, helping others, as we share some great time with the kids in the shelter. We want to give them hope, joy and a few smiles for the Holiday Season. This year has caused a lot of pain, heartache, suffering, sadness and tears with COVID-19 affecting millions. Though we may not be able to do the hands-on giving and blessings we have in the past, we will still be doing our part to bring as many smiles as we can to those in need.
Our goal is simple: to do our part to bring a huge smile, and a small amount of happiness to the kids in this tough situation. They are grateful for a chance in Life, given to them due to the generosity of many.
With your help and donations, I hope to grow this each year and eventually be able to write a huge donation check to a local charity in immense need, help a family pay their monthly rent, or deliver a full Christmas on a surprise. We want to be able to eventually donate a large sum to benefit the numerous kids in hospitals and shelters during the Holidays, and for it to be in the name of my sister: Shellae Vicknair (who left us too early in 2009). Our new website launched last year, and please visit to see some pictures and share some stories!

With your help, and kind hearts, our dream and vision to honor a very loving person is within reach.
