Angels leg amputation is post surgery 2 wks, shes bright and coping well. I minor mishap occurred which resulted in an impressive bleed but thankfully further surgery has been ruled out at this stage.

Keeping a young working breed confined, crated and quiet has been a challenge.

Initially the medication to subjue her has proven not to be very effective. She now needs further new meds to combat her zest to get up and go.

Our initially quote for the surgery was $2000 , this did not take into account meds and bandaging supplies.

We do need a few more $$ to cover these costs.

We are been humbled by the generosity of everyone who has shared and kindly donated to help Angel. Now she doesnt have to endure a raw stump where her foot used to be.

. This is Angel and we trying to raise funds for her.

Angel is a foster dog we had come in to our care on Saturday the 28th of September who needs her leg amputated. This will cost between 2500-3500 all extra donation are going to the rescue A1 Wheatbelt Dog Rescue

Angel has had another of a rough start to life when an old wooden table collapsed and fell on her as a pup resulting in her foot being taken off.

as far as we know she didn’t receive any medical treatment for it when the incident happened according to the previous owner, Angel has lived with this leg unable to put much pressure on it for about 5 or 6months and when being touched it gives her great discomfort and she starts to cry.

After a few vet appointments and different opinions we have come to the conclusion that this is the best thing for her to prevent pain and discomfort in the future and an infection to the bone that could be life threatening
