Angel Egmer from a hit and run accident
Donation protected
Barker Pub is missing one of our own, Angel Egmer. We are raising funds to assist Angel in a time of great need. On New Years Eve, Angel walked out the door of Barker Pub with a group of her friends, to be be hit by a black mustang. The driver then drove over her again, and then left the scene. The individual that hit Angel has been described as an African American male, and is still not been located. Angel was left extremely injured in the middle of the street. She was taken to Franciscan and then moved to Indianapolis, Indiana due to her extensive injuries. She has a long road ahead of her, and is going to be unable to work for at least the next 6 weeks. Her current condition right now is there are lacerations on her liver, lots of bruising, broken bones and the fracture in her jaw. Her jaw is going to have to be wired shut for at least six weeks. She’s definitely giving one hell of a fight but like it’s looking rough right now. Basically the main thing we’re trying to get taken care of is since her jaw will be wired shut she can only eat liquids but she can’t use a straw because of her missing teeth. So if anyone is able to help we’re trying to get her stocked up on food for her so like soup, broth, applesauce etc. anything that can be blended into a smoothie. If you’re unable to donate money to help her pay her bills, all
of the above will be accepted at Barker Pub, located at 607 E Barker Ave Michigan City, IN 46360
