Hi my name is Joanne, I am angel’s mum angel is not just a pet she is a huge part

of the family. She is also a support dog for myself and my daughter Loretta. My daughter is profoundly deaf and also has autism. Angel helps Loretta navigate the hearing world and is essential to Loretta as she offers her some independence as Angel acts as Loretta’s ears and keeps her safe. Angel is also an emotional support animal and helps Loretta when she is experiencing sensory overload and this helps Loretta control her emotions. Unfortunately our beloved support dog has had an accident which has resulted in her cruciate ligament becoming badly torn. Now she cannot walk and is experiencing a lot of pain. We are devastated that this happening to her. We have been in contact with her vets and an orthopaedic surgeon and we have been told she needs extensive surgery. The operation she requires is known as TPLO. Unfortunately the operation costs far more than we can afford alone and we are desperate for help to save our dog. So we have set up this fundraiser to help cover some of the cost of the operation which is estimated to be around £6500 at the moment, possibly more if she has to be hospitalised for a short while after surgery. We as a family are dependent on Angel and she is not just a dog she’s a member of our family. So we are eternally greatful for any donation's you can make and every little bit helps. Thank you so much
