We are setting up a” GO FUND ME “account for the Mike & Trisha Wayman Family. This beautiful family with two young teenage daughters, Lanie and Shae are the kind of family that are an example to all of us. If you know this family, there is no doubt that family is their top priority. You will never hear them complain about their circumstances life has thrown at them, but at times you can be at the end of your rope when medical bills pile up, loss of their home and Mike having his dream job taken from him after a severe fall and shattering his spine while preforming his job as an Engineer/Paramedic/Haz Mat Tech. in the line of duty during an emergency call serving the people of West Valley.
The Wayman family lost their home and the property they saved for in Morgan, Utah where they wanted to retire on after his service in the fire department. Mike and his family were forced to move where he could find work. They setup shop in Daggett County, Utah as an EMS Director/Fire Chief. Not long after he added another career when he joined the AirMed team from the U of U. Providing aeromedical services at the universities Rock Springs, Wyoming base. He did what we all would do, which is do whatever it takes to provide for his family. While traveling to work in Rock Springs from his residence in Manila, Utah he was in a major down poor when his car hydroplaned and caused his automobile to lose control and roll several times. Mike was knocked unconscious and had the help of a Good Samaritan who called for help. Mike and his family were again hit with enormous medical bills. He was out of work for months trying to heal. He has never truly recovered from his accident. The Wayman family had no choice but to move in with Mike’s parents. This young family again was dealt with another blow when Trish, being with child went into premature labor after being pregnant of 4 ½ months and lost their beautiful son Brody. Trisha’s pregnancy was a light of sunshine and the blessing they needed. The Wayman’s faith and love of the gospel allow them to know they will be able to see and raise their beautiful baby boy. The Wayman family have had their faith tested in so many ways but have never wavered. No matter how many times they get knocked down they always get back on their feet. Trish and Mike have never asked why, but to only set a great example for Lanie and Shae. This young family has again been burdened with enormous medical debt with Trisha’s emergency delivery and ICU care. We are asking for the help of others for the Wayman family. Mike and Trish would never approve of asking others to share their burdens and for this reason we are asking for your help and donations for this family of five. We must remember little Brody who makes six.
