In Memory of Amber VanderVoet: Support Her Family
Donation protected
Our Amber, with the contagious smile, at the young age of 44, passed away suddenly & unexpectedly due to medical issues on Thursday, February 13th.
She leaves behind her 7 year old, Kinsley, and fiancé, Travis. She was also a loving bonus mom to Travis' two children, Taylor & Aiden. Amber was the definition of a devoted mother, partner, daughter, niece, cousin, friend, & so much more to everyone blessed enough to meet her.
Travis & Amber had been together 10 years. They had their "Miracle Baby", Kinsley, on September 24th, 2017. On Wednesday night, the day before she passed, she & Travis had finally decided to get married. Their family was over the moon about this. As you can imagine, now, it only adds to the blow this loss creates.
Kinsley & her mom were inseparable. Amber was known to always go above & beyond in everything she did. She was present for every karate practice, doctor's appointment, tee ball game, dance class, & more. Even volunteering regularly at Kinsley's school & classroom & The Boys & Girls Club in Marysville. At the Eastmont Buzz Inn, she was a dedicated server/bartender for many years. Amber knew no strangers. She loved taking care of others & making them smile.
Travis will now be supporting Kinsley on a single, self-employed income while navigating being a single parent. Without Amber’s income, some of the funds collected here will go to supporting immediate needs while they find a new normal. Though that feels impossible right now, every little bit given here helps to make sure they can focus on healing rather than the added hardships that come with a loss this great.
A portion of these funds will be used to cover the costs of laying Amber to rest & holding a celebration of life. *Details to come.
The rest of what’s raised on this account will be used to support Kinsley & Travis through the trials that come ahead. *More support options will be listed at a later date.
We want to sincerely thank everyone who has already donated, those who continue to donate, & those who will help in the future.
