Hi everyone, I'm Ang, and I'm reaching out because I'm in a really tough spot financially. In 2022, I was diagnosed with a rare blood illness called Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP). This has made it really difficult to recover from my recent work injury that caused a concussion. Because I have difficulty healing, I developed Post-Concussion Syndrome. This injury also caused a terrible flare-up of fibromyalgia that causes severe pain all over my body and other conditions that the doctors are still currently testing me for. Due to these sudden health challenges, I'm unable to work. Without working, my workplace has recently taken away my insurance, leaving me with no financial help with my medical bills. The cost of medications and doctor visits added up and left me with $10,000 in debt. It's overwhelming, but I'm hopeful that with a little support, I can start to get back on track.
