Hello! My name is Maria Paula my family and I have decided to create a gofund account to help my dad Carlos Marques to get a heart transplant. My dad has been the best father in the world, I know many would say the same about their dad, and that is why I have faith that we will receive the necessary help to give my daddy
a chance to receive a heart transplant.

My dad has suffered heart failure and cardiac insufficiency since he was 46 years old, in the last 12 years he has received a defibrillator and countless procedures and hospital visits. For economic reasons he keept working to sustain his family, but  a year ago his heart got so weak and decompensated that the cardiologist forced him to stop working even against my dad's will.  It is with great sadness but with  greater faith that I am writing today. About a  week ago He was admitted to the hospital with 20 lbs. of extra fluid his body has been retaining secondary to his weakening heart and inability to pump the fluid through his body. The cardiologist said that  his heart is very weak and can not oxygenate  his body properly and he needs a heart transplant AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. 

We are unable to pay for medical expenses as they add to quickly, we are asking for your help to raise $ 50,000 to be used to cover the costs of health insurance that would cover the transplant, the maximum out of pocket for the surgery, the tests pre-operative and medicines so his body won't reject the transplant.

Hola! Mi nombre es María Paula y junto a mi familia hemos decidido crear una cuenta de gofund para ayudar a mi papa Carlos Marques a conseguir un trasplante de corazón. Mi papa ha sido el mejor padre del mundo, sé que muchos dirían lo mismo de sus padres, y es por eso que tengo Fe de que recibiremos la ayuda necesaria para darle la oportunidad a mi papi de que reciba un trasplante de corazón.

Mi papi ha sufrido con insuficiencia cardiaca desde que tenía 46 años, desde entonces ha recibido un defibrilador e innumerable cantidad de procedimientos y visitas al hospital. Por cuestiones económicas no dejo de trabajar para poder sustentarnos. Hace un año su corazón no pudo más y tuvo que dejar de trabajar en contra de su voluntad y obligado por sus cardiólogos.  Es con mucha tristeza pero con mucha Fe que me siento a escribir hoy, hace una semana ingreso a emergencia por que su corazón está muy débil y no puede oxigenar bien su cuerpo. Los doctores en el hospital han decidido que es tiempo de hacerle un trasplante LO ANTES POSIBLE.

Estamos pidiendo su ayuda para recaudar  50 mil dólares que serán utilizados para cubrir los gastos de seguro de salud que cubriría el trasplante,  el máximo costo de su cirugía, los exámenes pre operatorios y las medicinas para que su cuerpo no rechace el trasplante.  Por favor les ruego ayúdenos aunque sea con un dólar y sobre todo a difundir esta página para que más gente nos pueda ayudar.  Mi familia y yo les agradecemos de todo corazón su donación.
