What and why
In order to raise money for my wife's sister cancer treatment I decided to participate in my first in life full distance Ironman . It consists of a 3.86km swim, a 180km bike and a 42km run. The event will take place in Zürich on July 29th 2018.
Aneta's fight with cancer
That is Aneta, my wife' older sister. In 2007 she was diagnosed with cancer (carcinoma adenoides cysticum). She had two operations and undertook long radio therapy. In 2015 the cancer returned, this time because of tumor placement the only option was Cyberknife . The fight seemed won again but not for long. Now she is fighting back...

Aneta's life
Life has not been always easy for Aneta
Monika (on below image) her eldest child was born disabled. That defined Aneta's life forever. She raised her and her younger brother Adam as a single, working full time mum. She took up the challenge of raising Monika up with love and sacrifices, never complaining and questioning the situation.
You would say that is enough for one person and should keep her busy enough. But for Aneta it wasn't. Always sensitive to world's injustice and people's struggles she poured herself into charity work. She has been organizing support for poorest and most deprived families in Kielce district in Poland reaching those that had not received help before. Below image of one of donee families.
But even that was not enough for her. On the picture below you see Aneta with Lucky. Aneta found Lucky on the street after he was hit by car and left. She raised money for his operation and found a home for him... her house in which he lives next to other two dogs, also saved by Aneta...
Plead
You see Aneta has always cared about the world around her, even though the world was not always easy with her.
So I am asking you please join my family to help Aneta.
Let the world know who she is and what she has done for others. Help us show Aneta that world cares about her too.

Most burning needs that will be covered by money raised:
- vitamin c injection and pain killers not refunded by insurance
- anything that is related to treatment of 2 tumours in nose area but is not covered by insurance
- help with Monika's (Aneta's disabled daughter) care during ongoing treatment
- trips to various specialist in Poland
- anything related to search of a treatment outside Poland (document translations, Aneta's case evaluation )
