Anesco's 'For Sean' Charity Cycle Ride

Sean Gannon was a larger-than-life character, who worked for the O&M Field Operations team at Anesco. He was diagnosed with Sarcoma Cancer, a rare and under-researched cancer found in soft tissues within the body. Sean sadly passed away in December 2021, leaving behind his wife Kate, and two children George and Sofia.

In memory of Sean, members of the Anesco O&M Field team will be cycling from our furthest Northern site in England (Wreay Solar Farm, Carlisle) to our Headquarters in Reading from 8th to 14th June 2023. The journey is approximately 300 miles and will take six days. Each day the group will be made up of different people in a relay format, with each leg of the journey equating to approximately 80km.

All money raised will be donated to SarcomaUK to provide vital funds to the charity to increase its research capabilities. Please help us raise as much money as possible for this fantastic cause, all donations will be hugely appreciated.
