Andy's Kidney Fund

Hello Friends and Family!!

On April 13th, 14th and 15th, Andy underwent 3 consecutive surgeries in an effort to transplant a matched kidney from a cherished friend.  Unfortunately, there was an unexpected outcome, Andy's body decided to hyper-coagulate to put it roughly and the transplant was ultimately removed.  

Andy has been sidelined from fully returning to work at his boat shop, Midwest Boat Appeal, as hoped.  Due to his need to receive in clinic hemo-dialysis  three afternoons a week and the extended amount of healing from his three surgeries, as well as the numerous doctor and specialist appointments, we have found ourselves falling shorter than normal financially.   So, I have decided to use the gifts God has given me to help us through this temporary setback.   

Today, May 15th Andy turns 47!!  In honor of Andy's Birthday and to help raise awareness for the Living Donor Program, I will be offering the bracelet(s) (seen in the photo attached) that I have made from the beautiful greenstone Chrysophase.  Andy's birthstone is the Emerald and kelly green is the color indicating support for living donors!  In an effort to help defray the large medical deductible and associated out of pocket medically related bills we are suggesting $47.00 per bracelet.  

We hope that as we work through this time of unexpected setback, we can find strength in numbers!  I will make as many bracelets as needed to distribute to anyone that might be able to help us!  I am ready with bracelets ready to go today!!  Please let me know your address and size, small - kid size, medium, most women, and large - for the men!  The beads are a 4mm size, so not as small as a seed beed, but small enough that the bracelet looks amazing on a man's wrist as well as a womens!

We are anticipating heading back into the hospital for what we pray will be a final transplant that will set Andy onto a new road of full recovery and amazing health!  It has been a rough few months, this is incredibly humbling and we can only keep our faith and know that we will have a time when we are able to bless others as we have been blessed by so many during this crazy season of life!
