Andy Wallner Suffers Injury in Serious Accident

Hi, I am LaVonne Beckler, aunt of Andrew Wallner. On Thanksgiving morning, Andy sustained a serious injury while loading equipment for snow removal. While they were loading a steel box onto a dump truck, the box slipped off the tractor loader and fell on his leg and foot. He went into shock and the paramedics had difficulty stabilizing him before he could be transported from Breckenridge, MN to Fargo, ND for surgery. He sustained a compound fracture to his lower right leg and ankle requiring an extensive surgery where they placed 17 pins and screws leaving him unable to bear weight on that leg for the next several months.

He won't be able to work while he recovers from this injury. He is a single-parent with two small boys (ages 5 and 8) who witnessed the accident, leaving them worried about the welfare of their dad. The money will be used for medical bills, rehabilitation from his injury, and living expenses until he can once again return to work and care for himself and his children.
