Andy Velo's Eternal Reef Memorial

Hello from Andy's children. We are deeply saddened and shocked by the sudden passing of our father, and he will be missed terribly.

Our dad was an amazing man with a big personality, infectious smile, and lots of love in his heart. Not only will he be missed by us, but also by the many cherished friends and family that were in his life.

Currently, there are no definitive dates for memorial services. There will be an ash casting ceremony held this summer in his hometown of Belton, TX where his parents are buried. Additionally, his children will be honoring Andy’s wishes for a burial at sea by creating an Eternal Reef, made by an ocean conservation charitable organization specializing in creating artificial reef habitats to create an eternal living legacy in a marine environment. The Eternal Reef memorial will take place in Florida in the fall. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations towards Andy's Eternal Reef memorial.
