Andy Svrcek's 2nd Battle with Cancer

On November 10, 2018 Andy Svrcek went into the hospital for what he believed was pneumonia. Unfortunately, the news was not good because on top of the pneumonia the cancer that he had strived so hard to beat, had come back and also metastasized in many other areas of his body. He has been left with minimal use of his hands due to the spread of cancer in the vertebrae of his cervical spine, causing the nerves to be pinched. Because of the nature of this cancer, he is unable to work. Surgery is out of the question due to the locality of the cancer and the probability that he would not come out of the surgery without serious complications hindering any quality of life.

He and his wife Kayla have a very strong love for one another. She has supported him in his journey of entertaining many people with his voice. He has done many concerts without pay to benefit those in need such as St. Judes Hospital for children as well as for friends who were in need of a fundraising concert for health bills. Without hesitation, Andy does what he loves the most, reaching out to people with his words in the form of song. It is the very thing that holds all of us together without prejudice. Music. In sharing his love for singing, he has reached out to many for joyous celebration of life and of one another.

Andy intends to fight this aggressive cancer with everything he has.
