Remembering Andy Simmonds ❤️

With the heaviest of hearts, we are sharing the heartbreaking news that we have unexpectedly lost Andy Simmonds.

Andy was a loving husband, father, grandad, and a truly special person who meant the world to his family and everyone who knew him.

For 14 years, Andy proudly owned the village fish and chip shop, where he became much more than just a shop owner. He was a familiar face, a friend, and someone who made so many customers laugh with his kindness, humour, and sarcasm.

Since losing Andy, we have been so grateful for the support, messages, and kind words from so many people saying “if you need anything, just ask.” It has shown us just how much Andy was loved and how many lives he touched.

We have created this fundraiser to help support Andy’s family through this incredibly difficult time and this will help us give him the best send off he deserves.
