Andy was sadly diagnosed with an aggressive form of head and neck cancer on 17 June 2025, and just seven weeks later, on 7 August 2025, he passed away peacefully.

During his battle, we cared for Dad at home. Throughout this time, our family was blessed with incredible support from the London Ambulance Service and Pembridge Hospice, who guided us through his palliative care and pain management.

On 6 August, Andy was admitted to St Luke’s Hospice in Kenton, where he received an overwhelming level of care, dignity, and compassion in his final hours. The staff were extraordinary, not only in tending to Dad’s needs but also in welcoming family and friends to spend precious time with him before he left us.

As we lay Dad to rest, we have opted for family flowers only. For those wishing to honor Andy’s memory, we are asking instead for donations to St Luke’s Hospice in Kenton.

While the NHS funds part of hospice care, much of the specialist end-of-life support; both in the hospice and in patients’ homes, is only made possible through charitable donations. These funds ensure patients and their families receive the care, support and compassion they deserve during these difficult times.

Your donation will help St Luke’s continue their vital work, offering the same exceptional care to others as they did for Andy.
